La Rocca Residence
This project was a collaboration between me and Nan Sterman.
A wood fence delineated the backyard; it had a rectangular patch of lawn, a cement patio covered by a termite-damaged pergola as well as a play structure. The homeowners envisioned an inviting backyard, one that would entice theirs guests to come outside and explore. Their new garden offers multiple sitting areas, an array of colorful plants, and a restful place where kids and adults alike find things to see and to do.
